The Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 was grandly held from March 25 to 28, marking Yili Group’s seventh consecutive invitation to this prestigious event. Under the theme "Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future," the forum brought together global leaders from politics, business, and academia to deliberate on development strategies for Asia and beyond.

During the forum, Yili Group’s Executive President Wang Wei engaged in in-depth discussions with industry experts, including Li Haitao, Dean of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB); Liu Qiao, Dean of Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management; and Denis Depoux, Global Co-President of Roland Berger’s Executive Committee. Centering on the theme "Corporate Strategies in a Changing Global Landscape," Wang Wei emphasized that as a leading representative of the dairy industry, Yili has consistently seized opportunities for innovation amid industry transformations, keeping pace with technological advancements. By "empowering development with new technologies and forging competitive edges with new momentum," Yili has driven qualitative leaps across its entire industrial chain.
Wang Wei further noted that innovation-driven development and the application of new technologies have been pivotal in transforming the dairy sector—a traditional industry—from modest beginnings to robust growth, unleashing and revitalizing productivity. Through relentless innovation along its "from grass to milk" value chain, Yili continues to deliver higher-quality products and services, propelling the industry’s high-quality development. Amid intensifying global competition, innovation has become indispensable for tackling tough challenges and sustaining progress. Yili remains steadfast in its innovation strategy, achieving breakthroughs in critical technological constraints such as "advanced dairy processing technologies and domestic production of dairy-based ingredients," with some accomplishments even surpassing foreign monopolies in the field.
